Celebration of Birthday of Avatari Sri Hussain Sha (7th Peethadhipathi) at Rajahmundry  on 09-09-2011

 The Communal Harmony Meet was held at Sri Viswa Viznana Vidya Aadhyatmika Peetham’s Branch located at Gauthami Ghat, Rajahmundry to celebrate 106th birthday of Sath Guru Sri Hussain Sha. This meeting was chaired by Dr Umar Alisha. The other distinguished guests on the dais were Sri E.N.S Prathap, representative of Hindu religion, Sri M.D Rafiq, Representative of Muslim religion, Sri Srikanth James RRK representative of Christian religion, Dharma Priya Dommeti Satyanarayana, representative of Buddhist religion, Sri Dhawal Jain, representative of Jain religion, Sri Dharma Singh, representative of Sikh religion, They all addressed the gathering about secrets of spirituality, human relations and national integrity.

Inaugural lamp was lit by Dr Umar Alisha, Peethadhipathi. Prayer was conducted by Miss SriValli.

Representative of Hindu Religion - Sri ENS Prathap
ENS Prathap says that religion is a guide to correct the human way of life and saints, in Hindu religion, used to study Vedas to enhance their knowledge. He expressed that spirituality habituates expansion in thought pattern from narrow ‘I’ to universal ‘We’. He questioned the august gathering that, “How can religions are awful when minds are fine?” He concluded by expounding the greatness of Hinduism which treats all religion with equal stature.

Representative of Christian Religion - RRK Srikanth James
RRK Srikanth James said that he is praying God for this Peetham’s glory and development. By following spiritual path one can get comfort, happiness and bliss says Sri James. He also preached to choose a spiritual path which bestows eternal bliss.

Representative of Sikh Religion - Sri Dharma Singh Granthi
“Man has to inculcate spiritual philosophy to understand formless God”, said Dharma Singh Granthi. He praised the Peetham for undertaking so many good works.

Representative of Jain Religion - Sri Dhawal Jain
Sri Dhawal Jain explained the importance of Guru that without Guru, one can never get knowledge and without knowledge, one can never get salvation. He said that to have the traits of forgiveness and kindness in this human life that has crossed 84, 00,000 life forms, one needs to get Guru’s blessings on Guru Pournima.

Representative of Buddhist Religion - Sri Dommeti Satyanarayana
“By following Goutama Buddha’s preached arya astanga marga in pauli one can attain desire free state”, says Sri Dommeti Satyanarayana. He also said that through the traits of good character, samadhi and mental power, we can enjoy union with God.

Representative of Islam- Sri MD Rafiq
Salam means peace and Islam is originated from “Salam”. Man lost peace because he failed to follow the spiritual path, said MD Rafiq. He expressed that, laws reform man and man needs to lead life according to divine law. He also said that the God is above all weaknesses and is the creator, balancer and destroyer, and is an invisible power. He summarized that all should follow the teachings of divine descendents, prophets and sath-gurus.

Sri Kannan Sha, Retired Principal, Fisheries Training Institute , Kakinada
Sri Kannan Sha described and praised with examples the extraordinary persistent work and spiritual teachings of Sri Dr Umar Alisha, that is based on monotheism and is acceptable to all religions.

Sri SLK Prasada Rao defined Guru as the one who controls thought patterns and lets the disciple realize the divine secret of “I” and who lets followers to attain the state of “samadhi” through recitation of Maha Mantra(The Great Mystic Syllable). He also described the form of Guru as an illusion free form.

He stated that they are relentlessly working towards universal peace and national integrity by preaching spiritual knowledge which is beyond religions purview.

Without a Guru, man would not get enlightenment , nor would get moksha, said Dhawal Jain representing Jainism. Speaking on this occasion, Dommeti Satyanarayana, the representative of Buddhism said that one can seek union with God through good moral conduct, samadhi and pragna. Md. Rafeeq, the Islam representative said that ' Salam' means peace and the Islam derived from Salam only. Only by attaining spirituality one can lead a peaceful life. Firstly, Dr. Umar Alisha, Head of the Peetham, lighted the lamp and marked the inauguration of the meet. Peetham's Convenor Peruri Suribabu described the Peetham's history and its importance to all present. Prayer song was sung by Srivalli. Later, through Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust 7 sewing machines were given to poor women, 40 bed sheets mats and kits were distributed to orphan children.

He quoted Bhagavan Satya sai Baba's definition of spirituality that is travelling from "i" to universal feeling of "we". Srikanth James representing the Christian Religion said that religion is that which brings a person who has taken wrong path, nearer to god. Dharam Singh Grandhi representing the Sikh Religion said that just like a man takes breath even in sleep , one always has to memorise the name of God. Dhawal Jain representing the Jain religion said that without divine knowledge there is no salvation. Further he said that with right conduct, samadhi and pragna one can achieve salvation. Md. Rafeeq representing the Islam religion said that man is not able to sustain peace because of his distancing from Spirituality.
