The celebration of World Homoeopathy Week (April 1–10, 2026) at ASR Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, in proud collaboration with the Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust (UARDT), was not merely an event — it was a testament to our unwavering commitment to the "Healing Science" and to the welfare of our communities.
This souvenir captures the spirit of a week where academic rigour met rural service, and professional excellence was honoured alongside student merit. From the thundering rally that launched our week to the solemn national seminar that concluded it, every moment was imbued with purpose and passion.
Our mission extended beyond the campus walls into ten peripheral OPDs across the West Godavari region. Over eight days, these camps served as a vital bridge to health for the underserved — providing free medical consultations, comprehensive diagnostic tests (HbA1c, Lipid Profile, Thyroid Profile), and specialised Bone Mineral Density screening at no cost to the patient.
The week concluded in the National Seminar Entelechia Homeopathica 2026, held in collaboration with the IPH Foundation and Alisha Academy, dedicated to advancing Homoeopathic practice under the national theme: "Bharatiya Homoeopathy — Transforming Traditional Wisdom into Tangible Science."
I take this opportunity to commend our Chairman Dr. Akula Vijay Vardhan, our entire faculty, students, and all our partner organisations whose dedication made this week a landmark success for the institution and the community.
The week opened with a massive public Awareness Rally, organised in collaboration with the Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust. From GV Mall to Balusulamma Temple, 1,240 participants — faculty, students, staff, and UARDT volunteers — marched as one voice for holistic health.
The rally united 1,240 voices in one resounding affirmation of Homoeopathy's place in modern community health. It was more than a march — it was a declaration of intent that echoed across West Godavari.
Over eight continuous days, ASR Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital deployed medical teams across ten villages and townships. Every camp offered free consultations, free diagnostic tests — HbA1c (diabetes), Lipid Profile, and Thyroid Profile — and in the final days, specialised Bone Mineral Density (BMD) screening for osteoporosis.
The week began with a high-impact Free Medical Camp at the Tadepalligudem Peripheral OPD, providing essential diagnostic screenings to the needy at zero cost.
The first day established the dual-track approach: immediate clinical intervention in the morning, large-scale community awareness in the evening through the Grand Rally.

The outreach reached its numerical and clinical peak at Attili. This camp stood out not only for its massive turnout but for the landmark introduction of Bone Mineral Density (BMD) testing — addressing the critical need for osteoporosis screening in the region.
The success at Attili sets a benchmark for rural healthcare delivery. By combining Homoeopathic consultation with BMD diagnostics, ASR set a new standard for holistic, evidence-based community medicine. Over 83% of all visiting patients received a diabetic screening.
The campus became a hub of health and wellness. A remarkable 1:1 ratio of consultations to specialised bone health screenings ensured every visitor received a full physical assessment — the highest diagnostic output of the entire week.
Parallel to the camp activities, ASR teams conducted extensive door-to-door awareness drives across all targeted villages, educating families on the benefits of Homoeopathic medicine, preventive health, and the availability of free screening services. The programme also included a special outreach session at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Gurukulam School, Arugolanu (April 4).
The Vallurpalle camp provided personalised consultations and Homoeopathic care to the local community. With this camp, the collective reach of the ASR & UARDT collaboration reached 733 unique patients — a transformational impact for rural West Godavari.

From April 1 to 7, ASR Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital proved that modern diagnostic science and Homoeopathic care can work hand-in-hand to transform public health. This represents a monumental logistical and humanitarian achievement for a single institution in a single week.
To commemorate the 271st Birth Anniversary of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, ASRHMC — in collaboration with UARDT, IPH Foundation, and Alisha Academy — hosted the National Seminar Entelechia Homeopathica 2026. The event was presided over by Smt. Akula Vimala (Director, ASR Group).
Dr. B.S. Mohan (Chairman, IPH Foundation) delivered a compelling keynote on integrating modern research with traditional practice. 239 participants registered for the seminar. Quality Control was managed by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell, ASRHMC.
The seminar was the crowning jewel of a 10-day outreach mission. ASRHMC conducted 11 mega medical camps and provided advanced diagnostics to over 2,000 patients across the West Godavari district — a true demonstration of commitment to rural health and the homoeopathic fraternity.

ASR Homoeopathic Medical College marked a significant national milestone at the World Homoeopathy Day 2026 celebrations in New Delhi, under the national theme of evidence-based medicine and traditional science.
In alignment with the National Commission for Homoeopathy's emphasis on Social Commitment and National Vision, ASRHMC implemented a community-driven funding model to support World Homoeopathy Week activities.
The institution utilised the Milaap crowdfunding platform for transparent resource mobilisation from the public to provide 1,692 diagnostic procedures — including Bone Mineral Density and HbA1c tests — at no cost to patients.
In proud collaboration with the Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust, ASRHMC utilised their established digital infrastructure and volunteer network to coordinate "Project Health Tadepalligudem" — enabling door-to-door awareness drives and bringing healthcare to underserved rural populations.
This model directly supported the NCH theme "From Traditional Wisdom to Tangible Science" by funding objective, evidence-based diagnostic screenings. The institution served 687 unique outpatients during the commemorative week, ensuring financial constraints never hindered scientific Homoeopathic care.
ASRHMC & Alisha Academy partnered with ADIRA and DataLEADS to host a high-level scientific webinar on the role of AI in medicine — bridging the classical Law of Similars with future technological evolution. Supported by the AI Opportunity Fund: Asia-Pacific (AVPN, backed by Google.org and the Asian Development Bank).
