A Confluence of Science, Spirituality & Sustainability at Pithapuram Ashram
On the occasion of Eravaka Purnima, a Sasyavruddhi Beejaropanotsavam (Seed‑Planting Festival) was held on Monday (29‑06‑26) at the Pithapuram Main Ashram premises.
Dr. C.H. Narasimharao, Entomology Coordinator and Principal Scientist from Rajamahendravaram, addressed the gathering as a distinguished guest and offered valuable suggestions for farmers to achieve economic development.
Another distinguished guest, Mr. Y. Somashekhara Rao, Horticulture Officer, Pithapuram, urged farmers to make good use of the incentives provided by the government.
Mr. Lokasani Padma Reddy, an innovative organic farmer from Polepalli, Nalgonda district, and CEO of LPR Organics, explained how organic farming can lead to economic growth.
From Patanjali Foods Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Venkateshwarlu spoke about alternative crop options.
Another guest, Dr. Manukonda Srinivas, Principal Scientist, Agronomy, DAATTC Rajamahendravaram, discussed integrated farming systems.
Mr. Pachchari Devullu, Secretary of Sanjeevani Environment Protection Society, Visakhapatnam, spoke about the importance of preserving indigenous seeds.
Later, Dr. Nadimpalli Ramagopala Varma, Principal Scientist, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Adilabad, explained the multifaceted benefits of drone‑based agriculture and drone pilot training.
Following this, Mr. Ahmed Alisha, brother of the Peethadhipathi and distinguished guest, stated that natural farming is the responsibility of every farmer and praised the Peetham’s efforts in conducting such impactful programs.
The Peethadhipathi, Dr. Umar Alisha, honored all the guests and presented mementos. In turn, eminent farmers, award recipients, and chief guests felicitated Dr. Umar Alisha and appreciated his dedicated efforts toward environmental protection.
The program was conducted by Mr. A.V.V. Satyanarayana, who delivered the commentary, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. N.T.V. Prasad Varma. Peetham Convener Mr. Peruri Suribabu and natural farming entrepreneur Captain Mallikharjuna participated in the event. Hundreds of farmers attended, received the Sadhguru Divya Beejas, and pledged to practice spiritual agriculture.

మరొక అతిథి నల్గొండ జిల్లా, పోలేపల్లి నుండి ఇన్నోవేటివ్ ఆర్గానిక్ ఫార్మర్ మరియు ఎల్ పి ఆర్ ఆర్గానిక్స్ సీఈవో శ్రీ లోకసాని పద్మా రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ సేంద్రీయ ఉత్పత్తులతో ఆర్థిక అభివృద్ధి ఎలా సాధించాలో తెలియజేశారు.
పతంజలి ఫుడ్స్ ప్రైవేట్ లిమిటెడ్ నుండి శ్రీ వెంకటేశ్వర్లు మాట్లాడుతూ ప్రత్యామ్నాయంగా పంటల గురించి వివరించారు.

మరొక అతిథి సంజీవి ఎన్విరాన్మెంట్ ప్రొటెక్షన్ సొసైటీ సెక్రటరీ, విశాఖపట్నం నుండి శ్రీ పచ్చారి దేవుళ్ళు మాట్లాడుతూ దేశీ విత్తనాల సంరక్షణ గురించి ప్రసంగించారు.
అనంతరం ఆదిలాబాద్ కృషి విజ్ఞాన కేంద్రం ప్రధాన శాస్త్రవేత్త శ్రీ డా. నడింపల్లి రామగోపాల వర్మ, డ్రోన్లతో వ్యవసాయం, బహుముఖ ప్రయోజనాలు, డ్రోన్ పైలెట్ శిక్షణ గురించి రైతులకు వివరించారు.
తదుపరి పీఠాధిపతుల సోదరులు, విశిష్ట అతిథి శ్రీ అహ్మద్ అలీషా మాట్లాడుతూ ప్రకృతి వ్యవసాయం ప్రతి రైతు బాధ్యత కావాలని పీఠం నిర్వహిస్తున్న ఈ కార్యక్రమం ఎంతో మంచి ఫలితాలను ఇస్తుందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
