Dear Member Friends,
We, from the desk of Sri Viswa Viznana Vidya Adhyathmika Peetham, wish you all a very Happy Guru Pournima.
Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu, Guru Devo Maheshwarah;
Guru Sakshat Parabrahma, Tasmai Sri Gurave Namah.
It is said that the Guru is Brahma, the Creator; Vishnu, the Sustainer; and Maheshwara, the Destroyer. The Guru is also Parabrahma, the Supreme Reality. In essence, the Guru is everything. Guru Pournima is celebrated as an occasion to offer our deepest reverence, gratitude, and devotion to our Gurus.
Among all relationships in life, the Guru–disciple relationship is unique and sacred. A true Guru expects nothing in return for His boundless love, compassion, guidance, and blessings. His only wish is that His disciples progress on the path of Truth, Light, and Self-realization. The mighty power of the Guru assures us:
“Whenever my disciples are in anguish, pain, confusion, or difficulties, I shall come to their rescue.”
In our Peetham, our revered Peethadhipathis have exemplified this divine ideal through their unconditional love and care. They have given the highest place in their lives to their disciples, regarding them as their own parents, siblings, children, and relatives. Such selfless affection and sacrifice are rare and beyond measure.
How, then, can we express our gratitude for such pure and unconditional love?
The greatest respect we can offer to our Guru Parampara is to follow their teachings sincerely and practice Sadhana with dedication. Sadhana is the most beautiful flower that a disciple can place at the sacred feet of the Guru. Through sincere spiritual practice, we honour their teachings and become worthy recipients of their grace.
Today, we hear countless stories of human suffering—abuse, theft, violence, unethical conduct, food adulteration, pollution, social unrest, and wars both within nations and within human hearts. People are desperately seeking peace, solace, and inner stability amidst this disturbed environment. The time has come for humanity to embrace Dharma and lead a life of contentment, harmony, and bliss.
Therefore, on this auspicious occasion of Guru Pournima, let us dedicate ourselves to the propagation of Dharma and noble living.
धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः
Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah
“Protect Dharma, and Dharma will protect you.”
May the blessings of our revered Guru Parampara guide and strengthen us in this noble mission.
Let us intensify our Sadhana and radiate its positive vibrations throughout the universe. May our prayers and spiritual efforts contribute to a world where all beings live in love, light, health, happiness, peace, and prosperity.
सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः । सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः ।
सर्वे भद्राणि पश्यन्तु । मा कश्चिद् दुःखभाग्भवेत् ॥
“May all beings be happy. May all be free from illness. May all witness auspiciousness. May none suffer.”
Till the next Newsletter!
Spiritually Yours,
Renuka Devi Vangara
