Literary Tributes and Service Awards Mark the 121st Jayanti of Brahmarshi Hussain Sha Satguruvaryulu
On the occasion of the 121st Jayanti of the Seventh Peethadhipathi Brahmarshi Hussain Sha Satguruvaryulu, a literary meeting and the Sri Hussain Sha Kavi Memorial Awards were held on Wednesday at the main ashram of the Peetham in Pithapuram, under the auspices of the Umar Alisha Sahiti Samithi.
Renowned poet and literary scholar Acharya Dr. Vistali Shankar Rao said that the exalted spiritual master, Brahmarshi Sri Hussain Sha, gifted humanity the great work “Sha Tatvam,” a guiding philosophy that shows the path for humans to evolve into divine beings without religious conflict.
Another award recipient, Smt. Vemuri Lakshmikanti, said that the Sri Viswa Vignana Vidya Adhyatmika Peetham has been imparting Vedantic wisdom for centuries, blending spiritual philosophy and social service as two guiding eyes for humanity. She expressed that receiving the Brahmarshi Hussain Sha Kavi Award felt like a blessing from her past deeds.
Later, members who have served the Peetham for decades—Tsavatapalli Murali Krishna, Peetham Convener Peruri Suribabu, Dr. Pingali Anand Kumar, and K. Swarnalatha—were honored with Distinguished Service Awards, each receiving ₹10,116 in recognition of their contributions. Peethadhipathi Dr. Umar Alisha felicitated them grandly during the ceremony.

మరొక పురస్కార గ్రహీత శ్రీమతి వేమూరి లక్ష్మీకాంతి మాట్లాడుతూ ఆధ్యాత్మిక తత్త్వ ప్రబోధం, సామాజిక సేవా కార్యక్రమాలను రెండు నేత్రాలుగా చేసుకుని వందలాది సంవత్సరాలుగా వేదాంత విద్యను కాలానుగుణ్యంగా మానవాళికి అందజేస్తున్న మహోన్నత పీఠం శ్రీ విశ్వ విజ్ఞాన విద్యా ఆధ్యాత్మిక పీఠం అన్నారు. బ్రహ్మర్షి హుస్సేన్ షా కవి పురస్కారాన్ని అందుకోవడం తన పూర్వజన్మ సుకృతంగా భావిస్తున్నానని తెలిపారు.
అనంతరం దశాబ్దాల కాలంగా పీఠానికి సేవలందిస్తున్న సభ్యులు త్సవటపల్లి మురళీ కృష్ణ, పీఠం కన్వీనర్ పేరూరి సూరిబాబు, డాక్టర్ పింగళి ఆనంద కుమార్, కె. స్వర్ణలత దంపతులకు సభలో విశిష్ట సేవా పురస్కారాలను అందించి ఒక్కొక్కరికీ 10 వేల నూట పదహారు రూపాయల నగదు పురస్కారాలను అందజేశారు. తదుపరి పీఠాధిపతి ఉమర్ ఆలీషా వారిని సభలో ఘనంగా సత్కరించారు
