Newsletter – Jul 2025

Dear Member Friends,

Warm greetings from the desk of Sri Viswa Viznana Vidya Adhyathmika Peetham.

On this sacred and auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, we extend our heartfelt wishes to you and your families. May the divine blessings of our Guru Parampara, beginning from the Origin to our revered Sath Guru Dr. Umar Alisha, fill your lives with light, wisdom, and inner transformation.

What is a True Offering to a Sath Guru?

Many souls take birth in human form—some begin their spiritual journey early, while others are awakened by life’s trials. This human life is the result of passing through 8.4 million life forms. It is not just a privilege but a profound opportunity—to realize the divine presence both within and beyond this physical existence.

Our task in this sacred journey is to live with self-awareness and understanding of the “Self” or the “I.” Through sincere spiritual practice, one can attain the state of Jeevan Muktha—liberation while still in the body.

While worldly teachings guide us through the physical aspects of life, it is the spiritual Guru who supports us at every level—physical, mental, and spiritual. A true Guru’s love and grace are not bound by time or circumstance; they remain with us, unwavering, until we reach the Abode of the Absolute—the Origin.

As Sath Guru Sha garu often says: the love we receive from mother, father, spouse, children, and relatives is beautiful but transient. It shifts, it changes, and it fades. But the love of a Sath Guru is eternal. A true Guru never abandons a sincere disciple, regardless of their state or stage in life.

What Can We Offer in Return?

What can we, as disciples, offer to such boundless and pure love?

Only sadhana—our spiritual practice—is the most meaningful offering at the holy feet of the Sath Guru. Our dedication, discipline, and transformation are the gifts we can humbly present in return.

In our Peetham, the Sath Guru guides us to practice Thrayee Sadhana, to plant and nurture three saplings every year, contributing to the well-being of Mother Earth through the sacred practice of Na Mokka – Na Swasa. We are also encouraged to participate in seva (selfless service) through the Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust programmes, thereby integrating spiritual practice with social responsibility.

Let us follow the divine word of the Sath Guru, live consciously, and strive for liberation within this very lifetime. Let us cherish the immeasurable love, guidance, and grace of our Sath Guru.

Until the next newsletter…

Spiritually yours,

Renuka Devi Vangara
