Dear Member Friends,
In Every Thursday’s Aradhana sessions, at Pithapuram’s main ashram-the Modern Temple of Humanity, people share their experiences with other attendees. They are all miracles that happened in their lives. Some we can never believe, but they are facts that the speakers experienced those incidents in their lives. In Mahabharatha, when Draupadi called Lord Krishna in trouble, he immediately answered. In Puranas (Hindu Mythology), we have a narration about Gajendra, an elephant. One day he visits a water pool and, there one crocodile is living for a long time. That crocodile snatches his leg and never leaves. There was a big fight between Gajendra and that arrogant crocodile. Lost all his energy and in deep pain and anguish, Gajendra prays Lord Vishnu. Immediately, the Lord descends and rescues him. This Bhagavatham story depicts the love of God towards suffering disciples. Our Sath Guru is a famous rescuer and helped many in suffering and trouble.
Sri Guru Geetha (from Skanda Purana, Brahma Samhitha ) explains the qualities of a Guru. In that, the famous sloka is
गुरुर्ब्रह्मा ग्रुरुर्विष्णुः गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः ।
गुरुः साक्षात् परं ब्रह्म तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः ॥
A Sath Guru is a creator, organizer, and destroyer of this creation and, a true disciple knows the power of his Guru. When we listen to members experiences, we get a doubt that,
Does God or Guru answer any prayer?
No, a devotee must have immense faith, devotion, and confidence for the God and Guru he prays. When we pray with such intensity and pure heart, then our prayers will get answered. To receive any blessings, we must have eligibility and, such eligibility is a byproduct of sincere practice with sincerity, faith, devotion, and knowledge. Every being possesses some ego. Human life is in the clutches of six vices, kundalini, time, and illusion. When we call for help, we must surrender ourselves with faith that Sath Guru will answer and that prayers get answered.
So dear member friends, let us do more Sadhana as it’s the only way to become a transparent medium to a Sath Guru and, then we acquire eligibility to receive his grace and blessings.
Till next News Letter!
