Newsletter – March 2026
Dear Member Friends,
The month of March is enriched with many auspicious festivals, and we wish you all a joyful and blessed time during these celebrations. The month begins with Holi on March 4th, preceded by Holika Dahan on March 3rd, followed by various regional New Year festivals such as Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and Cheti Chand on March 19th –20th, Ram Navami on March 26th, and Mahavir Jayanti on March 31st.
Among all these, one of the most significant events in our Peetham’s calendar is the Communal Harmony Meeting, held at Kahen Sha Vali Dargah, Tuni, on the first Monday of March, which falls on March 2, 2026.
A life-transforming event occurred during the period of the Fourth Peethadhipathi, Sath Guru Kahen Sha Vali. Suddenly, Sath Guru Hassan Miya Sha left his physical form when Sri Kahen Sha Vali was still very young. At that critical moment, the very existence of this eternal Peetham came into question. It was then that the holy Guru Sri Akhailalisha gave darshan to Sri Kahen Sha Vali, both in physical and dream states, and initiated him with complete knowledge and sacred Manthra.
This divine intervention was a miracle for the benefit of mankind. Thus, the Peetham’s existence continued and is imparting spiritual wisdom and rendering selfless service to humanity through various activities. A poem in our literature affirms the Peetham’s glory and its existence as eternal. Always the great things and noble people are truly simple. Here, in our Dharma, service and spiritual sadhana go hand in hand, enabling a deeper understanding of the noble principles of Humanity.
Sri Kahen Sha Vali Sath Guru authored an epic scripture titled Kaliki Bhagavatham, which is a treasure house of spiritual wisdom and the profound secrets of human life. Members often sing the Daruvu Keerthanas from this sacred text; they are deeply inspiring and awaken divinity within the soul. The teachings of this Peetham are simple, universal, and easy to follow.
While spirituality is often made complex and considered difficult or even boring, here it is taught in a natural and joyful manner—even to the unborn, just as Lord Krishna imparted knowledge to Abhimanyu in the womb. It is truly inspiring to see many children and young people delivering discourses and actively participating in service activities.
In a world where we increasingly witness elderly parents being neglected, this Peetham teaches us to honour and serve our parents, treating mother, father, mother-in-law, and father-in-law alike with reverence and love. Another remarkable aspect of our teachings is the emphasis on respecting all religions equally and following Humanity as our Dharma.
At the Communal Harmony Meet in Tuni on March 2nd, the heads of all religions are invited to share the same platform and deliver discourses on their respective faiths. By the end of the session, attendees realize a profound truth—that all religions ultimately lead to the one omnipotent Divine, and that religion is simply a path to realize the God dwelling within.
So, dear members, let us honour our parents and senior citizens, engage sincerely in sadhana and service as propounded by our Sath Guru, and remain steadfast in our Dharma until our last breath, so that we may attain liberation while in this physical form.Spiritually yours,
